Easily integrate Air Turbine Spindles® into your production by connecting 90 psi / 6.2 bar air. Air Turbine Spindles® can be supplied air from your toolholder and auto tool change right from your Hermle machine’s magazine. Review our user notes and setup guide below for more information.
TECHNICAL NOTICE
Hermle spindle air lines include a “Perlman valve”, which restricts airflow pressure to 30 psi / 3 bar air. This pressure is below the minimum required 90 psi / 6.2 bar pressure required for operation of Air Turbine Spindles®.
Therefore please follow the Hermle approved quick and easy protocol to remove this valve. Failure to remove this valve causes a flow restriction, under power performance and cause damage to your Air Turbine Spindle®.
