660 CNC Spindle Series
The 660DIN40 is ideal for heavier duty applications and milling hard materials in corners. The 660 features a higher governed constant speed at 50,000 RPM and even higher power at 0.94 HP (0.7 kW). Our proprietary governor-controlled turbine maintains rated high speed, optimizing tool performance and life. Air Turbine Spindles® direct-drive turbine operates with very low vibration and no heat in 24/7 operation. As a result, the 660 mills faster in all materials, including tool steel, titanium and ceramics reducing cycle times dramatically. For long-life milling in hard materials, this robust 660 Series is equipped with quadruple air-cooled angular contact bearings.
Economical consumption of air results from our governor adjusting CFM airflow to the minimum required to maintain high speed. With 2µ precision in its ER11 Ultra-Precision collet the 660 is also very precise. Selectable rear or side air feed on each spindle. Automatic loading from the magazine on all machines.

Automatically Tool Change on your CNC
Automatically load Air Turbine Spindles® in CNC machines with our patented wrap-around Toolchanger Mounting Assembly (TMA). This option allows CNC tool-changers to automatically load/unload our family of high-speed precision spindles using a proprietary collar system and mounting block or ring around the CNC spindle integrated to the right side of the CNC spindle in minutes.

Mounting blocks or rings compatible with Haas, Hurco, Doosan, Robodrill, Hardinge, DMG, Brother, Okuma, and all other CNC’s are available. We are accustomed to developing custom solutions for any CNC. A universal block can be provided for drilling your CNC screw positions. Installation Kits are available. The TMA block remains on the CNC spindle for normal tool changes, even if not using the Air Turbine Spindles® as it will not interfere when using the main spindle.
